Thirsty Thursday

Hey y'all! It's been a wild week! Tests, skills labs, etc!!! Time for our drink of the week! YAY!
I'm gonna bring it back OLD SCHOOL!!!!! Those of you that went to NSU will definitely know what I'm talking about! Nights at the Pinnacle with no worries in the world...circa 2003! LOL! Enjoy responsibly... Don't over-indulge (it'll make you sick--trust me!).

Amaretto Sour
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 - 2 splashes sweet and sour mix

Directions:
Pour the amaretto liqueur into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add a splash or two of sweet and sour mix, and shake well. Strain or pour into an old-fashioned glass, garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange, and serve.

Thirsty Thursday

Here at "In this crazy life..." Thursdays are dedicated to cocktails!!!! I don't know about y'all but I love an awesome cocktail every now and then! Cheers to "Thirsty Thursdays."

I love a crisp, cool cocktail in the summer. It's been so hot here in Louisiana lately! I think I may try this soon. It came from a 2007 Southern Living article.

PINK Lemonade Cocktail

Ingredients:

1- 12oz. can frozen pink lemonade concentrate

3- 12oz. bottles of beer, chilled (not dark... I would probably use Abita beer)

3/4 cup Vodka chilled

Ice

Garnishes: fresh citrus fruit, cranberries

Preparation:

Stir all ingredients together and pour over ice. Garnish accordingly! ENJOY!
